Desktop Chassis Does This Sound Like A Good Desktop System?

Does this sound like a good desktop system? - desktop chassis

Processor: Intel Core ™ 2 Duo E6550 2.33 GHz w / 4MB Cache

CPU Cooler / Fan: Retail Intel heatsink and fan

Motherboard: Asus P5K-SE w / dual DDR2 1066, Audio 7.1, Gigabit LAN, PCI-E x16

Memory: 2 GB OCZ PC2-6400 Gold Gamer eXtreme XTC Edition Dual Channel DDR2 Kit (2 x 1 GB)

Case: NZXT Lexa Classic Series Aluminum Chassis

Power: Enermax Liberty Modular Power Supply, 500W,

1 hard disks: Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ATA 500 GB W / 16MB Cache

Optical Drive 1: ASUS DRW-1814BL Dual Layer 18x DVD + /-RW w / LightScribe, SATA

Video Cards: EVGA e-GeForce 8600 GTS 512 MB PCI-E w / Dual DVI, HDTV-Out

There are some things missing, but what I been .... all advice appreciated ... Thank you!

As this material is used?

I think the SATA hard drive. I personally prefer two separate hard drives for better performance, especially when multi-tasking. So, I would be with two models of 320 GB.

The graphics card is weak when you play the latest games and new thinking coming into this holiday season. Investing in a 8800GTS 320MB, which can be purchased for about $ 250 after rebate.

Of course, I offer a half. Gotta junky old Compaq arranged, but in my Vista partition is 4.2, good enough for my budget!

Very good. That is Vista? I recommend it, it's great, once the habit. Why not a card reader, too? And be sure that the control over things to buy "good" and make the speakers only on the hardware.

What is a sound card? I like Creative Labs. They are more expensive than a solution on board. However, the better sound quality and performance can help the game in certain situations
