I recently bought an external usb dvd drive. now it says its exceeding the hub port power. what should i do? - dvd hub
I bought an external DVD drive on my laptop USB. Has worked well. Now when I connect says it has exceeded the power of the hub port. I tried the troubleshooting, disconnect and reconnect, but still does not work. I still have a floppy in the drive and will not work. Help! I need to work for me. Thank you in advance if you can offer assistance.

Hmmm .. This is very rare when you plugged in other USB devices, they are the DVD player directly into your laptop or USB hub? Economic USB hubs are known to cause such problems.
